This is the Privacy Statement of Adformatie, part of Sijthoff Media BV, established in Amsterdam.
Introduction
Adformatie takes your privacy very seriously and will process and use information about you (the data subject) in a secure manner. In this Privacy Statement we explain to you which data we process and for what purpose we do this. In addition, you can read in this Privacy Statement about your rights with regard to our processing of your personal data. We recommend that you read this Privacy Statement carefully. Who is Adformatie?
Adformatie is a publishing company and part of Sijthoff Media Groep BV, with offices in Amsterdam.
Adformatie shares your personal data within the B2B brands of Sijthoff Media Groep BV in the event of a legitimate interest. Both the group and the individual B2B brands are therefore (joint) responsible for the processing of your personal data.
In the context of our services, we collect, store, transfer or otherwise process personal data. Based on the applicable privacy legislation, we are responsible with regard to the personal data that we process about you.

How do we obtain your personal data? Adformatie has information about you in its possession, because you have provided that information to us.
What are your rights?
Under the European General Data Protection Regulation you have a number of rights with regards to your data and its processing:
Insight
You can always view your own (personal) data and change it if necessary in your account. If you want to see the personal data that has been recorded about you at Adformatie, you can make a request for access.
Modify
If you want to make changes to the personal data that you have seen as a result of a request for access and that you cannot change yourself in your account, you can request this at Adformatie. You can request that Adformatie changes, corrects, supplements, deletes or protects your data.
Restricting Processing
You also have the right, under certain conditions, to request Adformatie to restrict the processing of your personal data.
Right to object
If a certain processing takes place on the basis of the 'legitimate interest' of Adformatie or a third party, you have the right to object to that processing.
Data transfer
You have the right to obtain your personal data from Adformatie. Adformatie will provide this in a structured and common form, which can be easily opened in other common digital systems. In this way you can also transfer your data to another provider.
Revoke consent
In all cases where the basis for a certain data processing is your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent. This has no consequences for the past, but it does mean that we are no longer allowed to process that data. As a result, Adformatie may no longer be able to provide you with certain services.
Response by Adformatie
A request can be sent to klantenservice@adformatie.nl . Adformatie will grant your request as soon as possible and in any event no later than one (1) month after Adformatie has received such a request. If Adformatie rejects your request, we will indicate in our answer why the request is rejected.
Recipients of the personal data
The data can be passed on to:

- Parties involved in the execution or fulfillment of an agreement between you and Adformatie
It may be that Adformatie is obliged to provide your data to a third party, for example on the basis of a legal obligation.
Transfer to other countries or international organizations
For (for example) technical and operational reasons, it may be necessary for your (personal) data to be passed on to companies affiliated with Adformatie outside the European Economic Area. Because the regulations in the field of privacy protection may not offer the same protection there as within the European Economic Area, Adformatie will make use of the EU Model Clauses to protect your privacy as much as possible. What are cookies and how does Adformatie use them?
